Built To Carry The Gear And Keep Moving

This Volkswagen Crafter support van was designed around long weekends spent outdoors — carrying bikes, camera equipment, climbing gear and everything needed to stay out longer without relying on campsites or hotels. The focus was never luxury. Instead, the build prioritises durability, flexibility and the freedom to head somewhere interesting at short notice.

Rather than functioning as a traditional campervan, the Crafter was built as a support vehicle for outdoor trips throughout the UK. Extensive rear storage, flexible sleeping arrangements and onboard power systems make it equally capable of supporting weekends in the mountains, long drives through Scotland or slower road trips along the coast.

The build includes modular gear storage, off-grid power, diesel heating and a compact workspace designed for charging batteries, organising equipment and staying self-sufficient during longer trips away. A large rear garage area allows the van to adapt between different outdoor disciplines without needing major reconfiguration.
